MY CAR WAS PLUGGED IN TODAY WITH A TEMPERATURE OF -30 F, IT DID NOT START. EVENTUALLY I LEFT MY FOOT ON THE GAS PEDAL AND EVETNUALLY IT DID START.
THERE IS NOTHING IN MY BOOK THAT MENTION SPECIAL PROCEDURES FOR AN EXTREME COLD START.
ANYONE WOULD KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS.
I LIVE IN CANADA AND IT IS VERY COLD THIS WEEK.
I HAVE A C230 AUTOMATIC 2007.
HOPEFULLY TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER.
THANK YOU |

I heard it was cold "back home." I moved from Alberta to Texas this spring...and I continue to keep thinking I am SOOO happy I don't own my Benz back home. It gets too cold!
My car hates it when it gets to 45 degrees farenheit! I can't imagine how it would react to -40!
Did your car start today? |

Yes, my car started today.
I think the problem was to overfill the gas tank, the day before.
Yesterday, I held my foot on the gas pedal and it started, it was probably flooded.
I wish I was in Texas at least for the next few weeks anyway. |
